We ended our first week on a very happy note :) The class learned the words to "If You're Happy and You Know It" We clapped, stomped and shouted "Hooray!"
I can tell that kids are starting to feel more comfortable in the classroom, with me & Mrs. McCay and with each other. Many new friendships are starting to bloom! There were so many smiles and giggles today - all of their personalities are really starting to come out :)The girls have enjoyed playing dress-up with the princess clothes donated by Katie...
The boys love building with blocks, setting up train tracks and playing with the cars...
Painting is definitely a favorite activity for Grant and Addie... Grant loves to sing along with the music and paint :)
On the playground, Henry and Anderson had fun playing ch
ase... Fletcher had so much fun riding a scooter and getting it stuck in the rocks - while Allison kept pulling the scooter out of the rocks for him... Ben discovered that he is "very curious" and likes to know all that is happening around him ;) Charlotte enjoyed riding a tricycle while Mia and Katie took turns on the swings... Zach and Trevor discovered they are going to be great friends!
